Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Depart early morning from Nairobi for a scenic drive that includes breathtaking views of Mt. Longonot and the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You’ll drive through the Masai town of Narok, arriving in Masai Mara for lunch. Embark on a late-afternoon game drive, as the animals begin to stir from their heat-of-the-day slumber. As the sun sinks lower and the air starts to cool, witness the excitement of the bush in action, before being whisked back to your lodge or tented camp for sundowners, dinner, and a good night’s sleep to the lullaby of wildlife roaming the reserve.
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Masai Mara is magical in the early morning. The sun spreads its light across the plains, the air is crisp, and the big cats are returning from a night of hunting. Watch zebras frolic together, jackals pouncing in the grass, and a family of lions feeding, before returning to your lodge for breakfast and some downtime by the pool. An afternoon game drive is a time for reflection and peace as you go in search of more great wildlife experiences, chasing the orange embers of a setting sun, returning to your lodge for a well-deserved drink, dinner, and another overnight stay. Optional Activities: Hot Air Balloon Safari, Cultural Visits, Night Game Drive (certain locations only) and Two Hour Morning or Afternoon Walks (certain locations only).
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
Bask in the beauty of a true African sunrise on your last early morning game drive, followed by a full breakfast at the lodge or tented camp. You’ll then drive back to Nairobi, arriving into the city in the mid/late afternoon.
